Some low-risk processes may be automated, while outputs that require professional judgment or may materially affect individuals warrant appropriate human review.

We consider privacy, confidentiality, accuracy, information security and relevant legal or contractual obligations when choosing and using AI tools. The handling of client information in AI-enabled systems depends on the agreed scope, authorisations, safeguards and applicable service terms; information is not automatically authorised for use with public AI services.

Where AI use materially affects individuals or the handling of their personal information, we aim to provide appropriate information about its role. We believe AI is most effective when it empowers people and organisations, rather than replaces professional responsibility.

6. Client information and third-party systems

In some engagements, DTG may access or process information within systems controlled by a client. In those circumstances, the client's instructions, applicable agreements, and their own privacy obligations may determine how that information is handled. Our public website policy does not override any specific confidentiality or data-handling terms agreed with a client.

We may disclose information to relevant service providers, professional advisers, software or cloud providers, and authorities where reasonably necessary for our activities or required or authorised by law. Where third parties handle information for us, we consider the nature of the information and applicable contractual, privacy and security requirements.
